"上网"用英语怎么说

我觉得就这么个问题要看你拿什么心态来看,是用在什么地方.如果是正式一点,用use the internet, check the internet 等等,如果不是很正式,就用netting我觉得在上下文中,也是可以的.
surf the net是大家常用的,但它的一种含义好象不象中文中"上网"这么中性,似有娱乐、享受的这么一层含义。
